11-11.45 Drinks and optional snacks in Prosper Cafe.
11.45-13.15 1hr 30 of mindful pottery making with Georgie & Naomi from Ely Clay Collective.
Yoga
To open this event, our yoga instructor, Amera, will lead you through a mindful movement practice designed to align both body and mind. Beginning with grounding, you'll connect with the earth, breathe deeply, and gradually flow through a slow-paced yoga sequence, incorporating moments of stillness with yin yoga.
We’ll gently warm up the body with movements and postures to ease tension and bring attention to the breath. The second part of the session will focus on stillness, as we relax into supported poses to release any remaining tension. By centering on the breath and tuning into physical sensations, we will cultivate presence and connection.
You'll leave feeling perfectly balanced—strong, energised, yet calm and relaxed.
All levels of yoga experience are welcome.
Pottery
We'll be using a hand-building technique called 'pinch potting'. By slowly guiding the clay between your fingers you will connect your hands and mind, appreciating the making process in its own right, as well as the final product. Clay can be a powerful tool for the health of your mind, it is wonderfully tactile and allows us to engage in constructive play. Let go of any remaining tension by playing with some mud and allowing your creativity to blossom.
