caitlin Jaramillo
She/Her
Caitlin loves helping people connect with their bodies and find a sense of balance, whether on or off the mat. Originally from the western United States, she has called everyone from the sunny beaches of Southern California to the red rock deserts of Utah home, before bringing her love for the outdoors across the pond to the UK.
Caitlin has had an eclectic career spanning from environmental research, multi-day expedition guiding, working as a wilderness EMT, and serving as a mental health professional. Through it all, there has been one single common thread: a passion for connecting people with themselves, their bodies, and the world beyond.
She brings a deeply grounded and welcoming energy to the studio. Qualified in Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin and Restorative yoga, Caitlin also loves facilitating deeply relaxing sound baths. She is a firm believer that physical resilience comes from balancing flexibility with strength, which is why she is currently geeking out on anatomy to train for her Level 3 Mat Pilates qualification.
Off the mat, Caitlin loves
Caitlin’s journey to yoga actually started out of pure necessity. After years of whitewater guiding, canyoneering, mountaineering, and trail running, she originally stepped onto the mat just to keep her body in one piece! What began as a recovery quickly turned into a deep love for the practice. She went on to complete her 200hr RYT and silent Vipassana meditation courses, and has since had the joy of teaching everywhere from the bottom of the Grand Canyon to women’s solo retreats.
These days, she is still very much in her element outdoors - whether she is mountain biking, road cycling, backpacking, or planning her next adventure abroad. But she also loves balancing those big adventures with life’s quieter moments. When she is not on the trail or in the studio, you will find her tending to her ever-growing houseplant jungle, stopping to pet every dog she sees, or unwinding at home surrounding by her favourite candles.
