Hatha Yoga for Strength
Date: Fri 10th April
Time: 7.00-7.45pm
In this steady, strength‑building Hatha practice, Fion will guide you to move with intention and presence, inviting the body to grow stronger without strain. Expect slow, deliberate postures that awaken the major muscle groups, build stability around the joints, and cultivate strength that feels both functional and deeply embodied.
We’ll explore longer holds, mindful transitions, and breath‑led movement to support resilience from the inside out. Each shape is offered with clear, accessible options so you can meet yourself exactly where you are. Rather than pushing, we practice rooting — strengthening from a place of steadiness and curiosity.
This class is suitable for all levels and especially supportive for those wanting to develop strength while staying connected to breath, alignment and a calm and steady rhythm. You’ll leave feeling grounded, spacious, and quietly powerful.
Mindful Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra
Date: Fri 10th April
Time: 8.00-9.00pm
A gentle, contemplative practice designed to soften the body and settle the mind. We begin with Mindful Yin yoga: slow, floor‑based shapes held with ease, inviting the connective tissues to unwind and the nervous system to settle. Each posture is supported with props and guided awareness, creating space for stillness, sensation, and quiet inner listening.
Fion will close the practice with a nourishing Yoga Nidra — a guided rest that invites the whole body to release effort and the mind to drift into a state between awake and asleep. This deeply restorative experience supports emotional balance, nervous‑system regulation, and a sense of spacious calm.
This class is suitable for all levels and offers a sanctuary for anyone seeking softness, grounding, and profound rest.
You're welcomed to bring any props that help you feel supported - a bolster, pillow, meditation cushion or blankets. Thick socks can add an extra layer of coziness too.
